Marine Discovery Penzance

Come on an exhilarating sea safari from Penzance Harbour along the beautiful Land's End coast.
Here in the far west, marine wildlife is varied and abundant. Seabirds like gannets, fulmars, kittiwakes, terns, shearwaters, razorbills and guillemots are common sights; more occasionally we see puffins, skuas, peregrine falcons, rare waders and divers. Grey seals are seen on virtually every trip all year round. Harbour porpoises are often seen; these are secretive cetaceans but you could see a little dorsal fin break the surface. Common, bottlenose and Risso's dolphins are all visitors to our waters, and other encounters can include awesome basking sharks, mysterious ocean sunfish, various species of jellyfish and even whales!
At Marine Discovery Penzance we offer the only true marine eco-tour in the South West - our purpose built sailing catamaran is designed to maximise your enjoyment while minimising our impact. Nothing beats the feeling having a fabulous wildlife encounter under the power of the wind alone.

Mull Charters
www.mullcharters.com
Mull Charters aim to provide you with the ultimate wildlife experience. We take small groups of people (up to 12 max) to see the magnificent White Tailed Sea Eagle in it's natural environment around the coast of Mull. Every trip is a different adventure and we never have two trips the same. Most trips result in amazing views of these spectacular birds taking fish from the surface of the sea as close as 7 metres away. We also look out for other species at different times of the year eg Great Northern Diver, Golden Eagle, Hen Harrier etc. Sometimes we are lucky and encounter our local pod of Bottlenose Dolphins or harbour Porpoise en route. Every trip has stunning scenery, a helpful crew and a taste of the wild, usually a hot drink and a biscuit as well. We also offer specialist trips for photographers, sea angling trips and visits to the historical Isle of Inch Kenneth. Please take the time to visit Trip Advisor and see what our previous guests have said about their trips. 2012 price for a 3 hour Sea Eagle Adventure trip is £35.

"We'd never have found this place on our own" is a comment I hear almost daily from Wild West customers as the minibus slowly winds it's way along the tranquil shores of loch Garry, looking for the special birds that nest here in summer. Then on to wild loch Quoich where magnificent stags graze nonchalantly on the verges and golden eagle, buzzard and kestrel soar over the moorland and high ridges.

Or join a searchlight safari to look for elusive nocturnal species such as pine marten which inhabit the forests. Half day and full day trips are available.
